Trunk or Treat

Valley Kids’ present TRUNK OR TREAT! Calling all Valley View families! Please join us for our Valley Kids’ fall celebration at Sunnyside from 3:00-5:00 p.m. Families decorate their vehicle trunks. Kids (in their costumes) trick-or-treat at each vehicle. Fun is had by all! Fall-themed refreshments will be served. The cost associated for each child participating is 2 cans of food (to be donated to The Daily Bread Community Food Pantry). Be on the lookout for a Facebook event where you can RSVP as a “Trunker” and/or a Treater.

Netzer - Processing the Discernment - Part 2

Netzer Discernment Night, Part 2, from 6:30-8:30 at Sunnyside. Childcare will be available for children through 3rd grade only. Tim Doering & Jay McCumber of Netzer will be sharing on the “HOW” of the themes that emerged from prayer, the assessment tool, interviews, and discussions. Valley View picnic, following the worship gathering. Main course of smoked pork as well as beverages will be provided.
To help out we ask you to bring something.

  • I - O - please bring a side dish

Family Camp Out

Family Camp Out hosted by Valley Kids at 7:00 p.m. into Saturday morning, September 30. Think building community around the campfire. Smores, stargazing, skits, singing, storytelling. Brings your tents and sleeping bags if you want to sleep over or just plan on coming for an evening of fun. We will provide smores on Friday evening and a continental breakfast on Saturday morning. For planning purposes, we need to have a reply by Wednesday, September 20, whether you plan to stay overnight or just come for Friday evening.

Sunnyside Kids Consignment Sale

Sunnyside Kids’ Sale. Friday, the 15th, from 6:00-8:00 p.m., and Saturday, the 16th, from 9:00 a.m.-noon (50% off selected items from 11:00 a.m.-noon). Kids and maternity clothes, shoes, toys, baby gear, books, and more! A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Laurel House, a women’s shelter in Norristown. It is a cash sale only.

Forteniters Picnic

Forteniters’ Picnic (GO) at Sunnyside from 4:30-7:00 p.m. Valley View will be hosting this picnic for a group of mentally-challenged individuals. The group will begin to arrive at 4:30. Food will be delivered at 5:00 p.m. and serving begins around 5:30. Adults and children are welcome to help serve and interact with the members of the group.
