BLAMELESS: The Pursuit of Wholiness

Blameless. Huh? What does that mean? Is blameless being perfect, condescending, judgmental, and holier than thou? If so, count me out. Not interested. But what if blameless means being fully human, fully alive, and whole in every way? What if blameless makes me a better lover? What if blameless is how God sees me because of what Jesus did on the cross? Now I’m interested. Talk to me. Come and join the pursuit of wholiness in our teaching series called Blameless.

This week I was emailing back in forth with friends of mine who were in Las Vegas for the week feeling guilty because the temperature was in the 80’s out there while we were all freezing back here. They should feel guilty!

Pride

Well this is President’s Day weekend which means a few days off from school and maybe a day off from work, a big sale at J. C. Penney, and a chance for huge savings of up to 75% on home appliances at your nearest Sears outlet store complete with free in-home delivery.

Blameless in His Sight

Today is Super Bowl Sunday which means that tonight there will be some great commercials to watch on TV. And in between those creative commercials there will be a meaningless football game between the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots … at least meaningless to me.
