Valley View Community Church desires to be a community of grace impacting our world through life in Jesus.
That’s who we are. That's our identity.
As a community of grace we seek to create relevant bridges for people to encounter Jesus.
That’s what we do. That's the vision we've embraced as we turn the page on twenty years of God's faithfulness and begin the next chapter of the Valley View story.
Jesus built the first bridge, the most significant bridge, when he left the perks of heaven to rescue a broken world. People encountered Jesus in all sorts of ways ... in the synagogue, at the Temple, in fields, in boats, on beaches, in homes, in town squares, in back alleys and on city streets.
He closed the gap between us and God.
We want to close the widening gap between our culture and the church.
We want to think outside the box.
We want to take more risks.
We want to create more ways for people to encounter Jesus.
We want those ways to make sense to the culture in which we live because at the end of the day ...
It’s all about Jesus.
Encountering Jesus is what brings grace and peace, hope and joy to our lives.
He’s the one we worship. He’s the one we serve. He’s the one we love …
Because he first loved us.
This vision has a place for all of us. The bridges are endless. There's no limit to what God can do through his church individually and collectively.
