About the Event
Imagine having to walk everywhere for your most basic needs. Walking to get water or firewood, walking to see a doctor or to go to school, walking to church or to visit your friends. That is the reality for people in rural Malawi.
One of the organizations we support and partner with is Pamoza. MILES FOR MALAWI is Pamoza's annual 5K fundraiser to support programs and services that help families in Malawi access the basic resources they need to thrive. Join us on Saturday, May 18 at 8:30 am at Eastern University.
There will be Malawian activities & food tastings to enjoy before or after you walk (or run) around this beautiful campus with your family and friends!
